Shelley Michalk, D.V.M.

A 1995 graduate of Texas A&M Veterinary School, Dr. Shelley Michalk joined us in 2003.  She had previously worked in Austin and San Marcos for 8 years.  She is dedicated to practicing high-quality medicine and cultivating a strong client/patient/doctor relationship.

Dr. Michalk spent a month volunteering in Guatemala in a very rural jungle environment with a wildlife rehabilitation government run group, ARCAS.  She treated jaguars, a puma, spider monkeys, macaws and endangered deer for her veterinary school externship.

Dr. Michalk lives in Allen with her pets:  Jake, a 9 year old black lab mix, Hope, a special needs rat terrier rescued from an abusive household, and her new kitten, Apollo, who thinks he's tougher than everyone else and rules the family.
