Boarding

Reservations are required for boarding. We have separate boarding areas for cats and dogs, and large runs where bigger dogs can be more comfortable. Pets can be dropped off or picked up during regular business hours at any time that is most convenient to you.

For the safety of all animals, we require all boarded dogs to be current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccines. We require that dogs have a negative fecal since they share a common walking area. Cats must be current on Rabies and Distemper vaccines. If we are not your primary veterinarian and your pet is current on all vaccinations, we will ask you for proof of the vaccinations.

All pets must be current patients. This means that one of our doctors must examine your pet if they have never been seen here before their overnight stay. Call one of our receptionist should you have questions about our boarding policies.

If needed, pets will be treated for intestinal parasites or fleas at the owners expense. In addition, if the doctor diagnoses a medical condition, your pet will be treated during his/her stay.

We provide Science Diet Sensitive Stomach foods, so you don't need to bring any food with you unless your pet is on a special prescription diet. If your pet is on any medication, we recommend that you bring it in with you and we will make every effort to administer the medicine as close as possible to the schedule they are used to. There is a daily medication fee charge.

Before your companion is allowed to stay with us, we will ask you to fill out and sign a boarding release form. To make the check in process easier, we made this form available on our website. Once you fill it out, just bring the form with you when you drop off your pet for boarding. Please note that this form does not constitute a reservation and that our boarding space may be limited during holidays or school breaks. If you plan to leave your pet with us, please make sure you call us well ahead of time.

We provide all of the necessary bedding for your pet(s). Most boarding pets will soil their bedding within 24 hours of arrival because they are upset to be away from their owners. The bedding then gets destroyed in our washer or destroys our washer. So remember to leave all bedding at home and we will make sure your pets are comfortable.
